Xiaomi just held its first product launch in China by way of unveiling the new Redmi Note 7 smartphone that has a 48MP rear camera to boot. It also comes with a premium glass body, and waterdrop notch display.
The Rednote 7’s display is made of 2.5D Corning Gorilla 5 panels on its front and rear, and comes in gradient colorways. The screen measures 6.3-inch full HD and comes with a waterdrop notch. It also has a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels with 19.5:9 aspect ration.
Elsewhere, the Redmi Note 7 is packed with a Snapdragon 660 chipset with 6GB RAM. I wonder why Xiaomi didn’t push it further to 8GB instead? It’s a good thing there’s a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
For its OS, the Redmi Note 7 run on MIUI 10 which is based on Android 9.0. Completing the cast is a 4,000 man battery.
The star of the show is of course the 48MP rear camera complimented by a 5MP AI dual rear camera system and its 13MP front-facing camera for your selfie needs.
By and large, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 looks a pretty powerful premium smartphone. But wait till you hear about its price.
To be available first in China, the Xiaomi Red Note 7 price starts from CNY99, which is approximately P7,600. The top of the line will retail for CNY1,399 which is approximately P10,700.
Seriously? Can you get a cheaper smartphone with such features and specs as the Xiaomi Red Note 7?
